Vica Kerekes is a celebrated Slovak-Hungarian actress whose radiant screen presence and emotional depth have made her a star across Central European cinema. Born in Fiľakovo in 1981, she studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava before establishing a flourishing career in Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.

Known for her breakthrough role in the hit Czech romantic comedy Men in Hope (2011), Vica has since captivated audiences with her versatility—from period dramas to romantic thrillers. In Hungary, she has delivered award-winning performances in films such as Ki/Be Tawaret (Best Actress – Hungarian Film Week 2010), Cream (Best Actress – Hungarian Motion Picture Awards 2021), and Ordinary Failures (Best Supporting Actress – 2023).
