Vladimír Javorský is a distinguished Czech actor celebrated for his versatile performances across film, television, and theatre. Born on May 2, 1962, in Ostrava, Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic), he graduated from the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno in 1986. He began his career at the Theatre Husa na provázku in Brno, where he contributed to numerous productions, including Shakespearean plays and contemporary works.

Javorský’s film career encompasses a wide range of roles. He gained critical acclaim for his lead role in Flower Buds(2011), earning the Czech Lion Award for Best Actor. His international work includes a role in La Vie en Rose (2007).Other notable films include Milada (2017), where he portrayed Alois Schmidt, and A Sensitive Person (2023), showcasing his depth in complex characters.

On television, Javorský has delivered memorable performances, such as playing Václav Morávek in the war series Three Kings (1998) and Vlasta Burian in the historical drama Bohéma (2017).
