Dagmar Edwards is a Czech-born actress with a dynamic career spanning theatre, film, and television across Europe and the United States. Born on November 16, 1966, in Bruntál, Czechoslovakia, she initially trained as a nurse before transitioning to acting. Her early stage work included performances at the PRAK Theatre, followed by studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU). She later performed at the Slovak National Theatre and spent several years working in Germany.

Edwards gained international exposure with a role in The Peacemaker (1997), which led to opportunities in the U.S. Her film credits include Thanks for Every New Morning (1994) and Rapture (2019).

On television, she has appeared in series such as Druhá šanca (2024), Ordinácia v ružovej záhrade, and Polícia Hvar.

In addition to acting, Edwards is skilled in singing and dancing, with experience in musical theatre. She is fluent in Slovak and English.
