Alžbeta Ferencová, professionally known as Zea, is a Slovak actress, singer, dancer, and model renowned for her dynamic presence across various artistic disciplines. Born on November 16, 1991, in Prešov, Slovakia, she is of Romani descent and the great-granddaughter of Elena Lacková, the first Slovak Romani writer and a graduate of Charles University.

Zea’s acting career gained prominence with her lead role in the Slovak TV series Iveta (2022–2024), directed by Jan Hřebejk. She further showcased her versatility in the crime-comedy series Policie Hvar (2024), portraying Captain Ivana Stefániková. Her performances have been noted for their emotional depth and authenticity.

In the music industry, Zea began her journey with the girl group Forsomeone and later embarked on a solo career. She released her debut single “Is This Love?” in 2019, followed by the EP Burning Light in 2020, which blends elements of R&B and alternative pop. Her musical style is characterized by its soulful melodies and introspective lyrics.

Beyond screen and studio, Zea is an accomplished dancer and choreographer, proficient in various styles including salsa, hip-hop, and Latin dances. She has been dancing professionally since the age of 14 and continues to teach dance, emphasizing improvisation and expression.

Zea’s modeling career was initiated through her participation in the Miss Universe Slovakia competition, where she earned the “Miss Tip” title. She has since become a prominent figure in fashion and media, using her platform to advocate for diversity and representation.i
